When prepairing yourself for the big move always keep in mind the following:
- Boxes, boxes, and more boxes
- Set aside items no longer needed and donate them to charity. Then you can estimate the number of boxes you will need.
- Label boxes
- Always label your boxes with a permanent marker. This makes unpacking items easier and more efficient.
- Loading the truck
- When loading your moving truck, pack items by room with the labels pointing outward
